IN Recruiter/Trainer

Dungarvin, a national company that provides services for individuals with various disabilities, is currently seeking an energetic, creative, dynamic, dependable, and experienced Recruiter/Trainer for our Delphi, IN office. The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to recruit qualified candidates and train our new and current staff. The Recruiter/Trainer will provide assistance with (but not limited to):
Recruiting, training, and on-boarding direct support staff
Creating and posting certain job openings in a specified geographical area
Conducting required trainings to our new and current direct care staff for continued employment
Administer various background checks and reference checks
Conducting new hire orientations
Attracting applicants through various means of recruiting resources, including community events, job fairs, and other media advertisements
Creating and maintaining confidential employee files
Assisting with and participating in regular conference calls and other meetings with supervisor and other team members
Dungarvin is an Equal Opportunity EmployerRequirements? Minimum high school diploma/GED equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
2-4 years experience or education related to recruiting, teaching, and/or training. Previous experience working with individuals who have disabilities is preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills as well as time management and organizational skills. Current certification in CPR and First Aid preferred. Ability to obtain certification and maintain required certifications will be required as a condition of the position
Occasional overnight travel may also be required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
